The story
Pedro Murias began making cigars in the 1860s in a modest workshop in downtown Havana. As the popularity for cigars grew, so did Murias’ reputation. Ultimately, in 1882, such was the enormous demand for his products, Murias moved to a new two-storey building, ‘La Meridiana Fabrica de tabacos de Pedro Murias’.
In partnership with The House of Grauer, possibly the most prestigious cigar lounge in Switzerland (Geneva), Cuervo y Sobrinos has crafted a new vintage limited edition watch. The Robusto Pedro Murias pays homage to the son of Cuba and the home of its extraordinary business, ‘La Meridiana Fabrica de tabacos de Pedro Murias’.
