Although insuring your jewelry is not a legal requirement like automobile insurance and jewelry stores are not insurance companies responsible for loss theft or damage to your jewelry, it is however a smart investment that will provide peace of mind while you wear your treasured items.
Aside from your existing homeowners policy and renters insurance there are many insurance providers who can take care of your jewelry insurance needs.
If you have a homeowners policy that provides good coverage then we recommend you use that but if you don’t have a policy we can recommend Jewelers Mutual.
You are responsible for insuring your own jewelry. We are not an insurance company and are not responsible for the jewelry outside of our basic workmanship warranty.
