This gorgeous one-of-a-kind mudejar-style creation by Marcial de Gomar, features a 1.38ct round-cut fine Colombian emerald, cut from a rough emerald recovered from the world-famous sunken Spanish galleon, the Nuestra Señora de Atocha. With the rough emerald originally acquired from Mel Fisher directly by former emerald miner and founder of Emeralds International, Manuel J Marcial, who had the vision and expertise to cut this majestic and historical gem and set it into a work of art fit for royalty. After all these highly prized and valuable gems were on their way back to the King of Spain to help fund the war efforts between the Spaniards and the English.
